3D Product Design

A core focus of our team’s work is transforming your intangible ideas into 3D product design models that can easily be manufactured. We start sketching and creating 3D CAD drawings early on in our process for this reason.

Our 3D product design process begins with sketches which we then design on a computer. From there, our 3D design files can be used to produce the initial physical prototypes.

We’ll continue to refine these files into manufacturable designs that we can send to your manufacturer once you’re 100% happy with the prototypes.

In any case, we’ll assess the feasibility of your idea early on to ensure you can quickly achieve product-market fit and that the creation of the product is within your means.

What is product design strategy?

Product design strategy is the overarching approach to bringing a product to market, including the strategy for manufacturing and prototyping.

Creating a new product requires a cohesive product design strategy. As part of our strategy process, we thoroughly research the product, industry and market trends. From there, we begin developing the product idea and sketching potential designs.

We make sure our design strategy does not stop there, however. We merge artistry with engineering excellence from start to finish. We also ensure that quality standards are adhered to throughout the manufacturing process.

If I have existing product design and strategy documents, can you help me with prototyping?

It depends. We can certainly pick up where someone else has left off. However, we would never advise bypassing the concept development and research process. Even if you have prior documents created, we will take the time to review them and the design proposed before we progress to prototyping.

To ensure the most cost-effective product design process, we need to minimise your potential risk of the prototypes or production run leading to errors and defects.

As such, there will be some instances where our engineers may need to revise the documents you already have so we can maintain a high degree of quality throughout every product design phase.
