Cost-effective & ethical
Our 3D product design services cater to both consumer and commercial needs, providing high-quality computer modelling and rapid prototyping. Leveraging state-of-the-art 3D design and printing technologies, we’ll guide you from initial concept design through prototype iteration to final design production, ensuring a seamless transition from idea to reality.
Whether you’re looking to develop a proof-of-concept or test and refine facets of your existing designs, we’ve got you covered.
Quickly, affordably, correctly: you can only pick two. So far, that’s been the rule of thumb when it comes to product development, no matter the complexity of your product or the resources of your industry. Our rapid prototyping gives you a way to hit all three points.
We’ve worked with clients in several consumer industries, including:

Whether you need a simple model or a complex prototype, our process can handle projects of all sizes and complexities.
Timeframe:
To ballpark expectations, 3D printing a prototype typically takes 1-3 weeks depending on the complexity of the design. As for how long it’ll take to get to the final design, we’ll need to sit down for a consultation first.
Benefits:
Ideal if you:
1
First, we use computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop a 3D model of your product. We can even develop a suite of designs to test design variations.
2
Once the design is completed, we convert it into an STL (stereolithography) file format. STL files represent the object’s 3D surface geometry and ensure the model is compatible with our high-fidelity 3D printers.
3
We import the STL file into slicing software, which divides the model into thin horizontal layers. This process generates the instructions that the 3D printer will follow to create each layer of the prototype. The slicing software also allows for adjustments in print settings such as layer height, infill density, and print speed, enabling us to control design fidelity and deliverable timelines.
4
Once the G-code is ready, we send the file to the 3D printer, which begins the additive manufacturing process. The printer builds the prototype layer by layer using materials like plastic, resin, or metal. This step may vary in duration depending on the complexity and size of the model.
5
After printing, we may need to remove printed support structures or sand, polish and cure it. These finishing touches ensure the prototype meets your specifications and aesthetic standards.
